Putin, the suave man’s man. While this sort of marketing would be (and has been) mocked in the West, it is lapped up in Russia. Putin still has a public approval of almost 90%. He invades other nations, threatens to invade others, shoots down civilian aircraft, destroys the value of the ruble, and people still accept him because he is perceived as being the strong man who can take care of business and give Russia back its world leadership position against the USA.
