Ypenburg: Ypenburg was a civilian airfield (the word “field” appropriately describes the situation, which was literally a field—without actual runways) between Den Haag and Delft. In 1939 it was taken over by the military.

With no runways, all planes could be upwind, as can be seen by the tire tracks across the field. The location marker is in the middle of the field..
