The Holocaust

The definition of “The Holocaust” refers to the massive loss of life during World War II, though it is not limited to only Jewish extermination. In point of fact, the Jewish portion of The Holocaust (much less the military loss of life caused by the Germans) is less than half of the total loss, as is depicted in the following chart:

To comprehend the scale of deaths caused by Hitler, imagine that all bodies of those killed were lined end-to-end. The line would wrap the Earth three times.
