The Church in town is still going strong after all these years, although it has become somewhat more liberal, more along the “Confessional” side of things.

JanKees Aantjes’ father’s farm was just a stone’s throw from the church building, in the center of town. Later, JanKees’ brother, Jan, took over the farm. When Jan died in 1995, his son and daughter in-law, Kees and Arja, took over. Since then the farm has also become a recreational and educational center.
