V-1 and V-2 Program

Eighty percent of rockets launched at London were fired from the Den Haag area. The remaining rockets were fired from the area of Hoek van Holland , just south of Den Haag along the Nieuwe Waterweg (“New Waterway”) that joins the gigantic Rotterdam port to the North Sea.

A V-2 is inspected in the city of Antwerpen, Belgium. The color photo shows the current streetscape.
