The last time the five brothers were together was before Leen and Rita moved to Borneo in 1947. A rare meeting of four of the brothers took place in Canada in July 1970 when Leen, Jan, Kees and Bertus were together. The photo of the four was taken in Willowdale (now part of Toronto), Ontario, and the other two were in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
