History—Delfshaven

Pieter and Marie Sonneveld lived in 26 Aelbrechtskolk, Unit C. All of their children were born in this house, including their daughter Maria Geertruida (“Marie”), who would marry Leendert van Pelt on August 19, 1918—in the church two doors down the street. That was also the church in which the five boys, Leen, Piet, Jan, Kees and Bertus were baptized into the Dutch Reformed Church
