Marie’s Last Days

When Marie could no longer care for herself, she then moved into the Woonzorgcentrum (“Living Care Center”) Duinhage Seniors’ Home, just north of her independent living flat, She lived her last days in the flat marked with blue “x”s. Coincidentally, the Henny and Rita Bender’s parents, Jan and Johanna, living in the floor above Marie, marked with a red “x”. The current color photo on the right shows the building with the dunes and sea nearby.
